lafcadio-the-lion: I just started these a couple days ago via backcombing… am I doing this right?

It’s a little hard to tell, honestly. From what I can see, the first little bit up near your roots looks pretty good but a lot of the remaining hair looks very loose, especially the last 5-ish inches. Sometimes baby dreads look like that from a distance though, when they are actually pretty decently backcombed. Could you take a closer photo?
